

KAREN ALLEN (Melissa Brown) has been one of the industrys busiest actresses over the past two years, starring in "The Basket," with Peter Coyote, and the upcoming "Shaka Zulu: The Citadel," with Henry Celé and James Fox.
Among Allens numerous film credits are starring roles in the thriller "Ghost in the Machine"; Steven Soderberghs "King of the Hill"; "Scrooged," with Bill Murray; "The Glass Menagerie," directed by Paul Newman; "Starman," opposite Jeff Bridges; Alan Parkers "Shoot the Moon"; "Split Image," with Peter Fonda, and Steven Spielbergs "Raiders of the Lost Ark." She made her feature film debut in "National Lampoons Animal House" and followed with "The Wanderers," "A Small Circle of Friends" and "Cruising."
On television, Allen recently starred in the made-for-TV movies "All the Winters That Have Been" and "Hostile Advances: The Kerry Ellison Story." She previously starred as teacher-astronaut Christa McAuliffe in the tele-feature "Challenger" and as Abra in the mini-series "East of Eden."
Allen debuted on Broadway in the 1982 drama "The Monday After the Miracle."
